How to get around

Skånetrafiken is the transportation company that runs the buses and trains in the south of Sweden.

Public Transportation

Except for the app we advise that you refer to Skånetrafiken's website for details regarding timetable information and the ticket options that they offer.

You can also visit one of Skånetrafiken's Customer Centres for more information about their timetables and the ticket options:

  • Lund - Lund Central station, Bangatan 11.
  • Malmö - Malmö Central station,
  • Helsingborg - Helsingborg Central, Knutpunkten

Buses - please be aware that he city buses are green and the regional buses (between cities) are yellow.

Cycling 

The best way to move around in Lund is genereally by bike. It is only 6 km between the northern and southern parts of the city. Many students buy a second hand bike to get around the city.
