Waste separation guidelines

Sweden is the world leader when it comes to recycling waste and this is due to strict laws that require the waste to be separated correctly.

Lund is also forward-looking in its environmental thinking and therefore all housing areas have recycling buildings where information can be found specifying what kind of waste separation needs to be carried out by the tenant in order to minimize negative effects on the environment.

All tenants are obliged to sort their waste according to the guidelines and to put their waste inside the bins provided.

Please also note that plastic bags are only to be placed in the plastic recycling bin or residual waste!

Please see the separation guidelines in your preferred language:

The tenant is responsible for the waste until the waste has been successfully placed in the correct recycling bin.
