Cleaning and upkeep

No cleaning service is available in our housing areas. This means that you are responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of your apartment/room throughout your stay. For video instrucitons of how to take care of your apartment please click here


In connection to your departure a mandatory inspection will be carried out by our staff. The apartment/room should be thorougly cleaned before your departure. If you fail to clean properly LU Accommodation will charge you or the host department for any additional cleaning. Read more about how to clean when moving out.


If you wish us to book a cleaning company for you upon your departure, please inform us in the e-mail conversation while booking your inspection. When asking us to book the cleaning for you, you agree to pay the fee for this. An invoice with the cleaning fee will be sent to your e-mail address.


You can engage a cleaning company for regular cleaning or for cleaning out when you leave your apartment. To find a cleaning company in the region, go here.
