Returning keys

Return all keys and tags that were issued to you on your arrival, before the end of your contract. If you are unsure which keys were included, consult the key receipt you signed when moving in, or read more about key types below.

When?

At any time before 12:00 (noon) on the last day of your contract.

Where?

At Instrumentmakaregränden 6 in Lund (LU Accommodation's key drop-off point):

How?

Return the keys via the key return chute which can be found approximately one meter to the right of the entrance to the old parking office. You can return the keys here at any time.

Do not return the keys in an envelope or plastic/paper bag when using the key return chute. Using an envelope or plastic bag will lead to blockages in the key return chute.

Return keys in Helsingborg

Tenants in Helsingborg can also return their keys at the Helsingborg Campus reception (Universitetsplatsen 2). Please put the keys in an envelope with your name and room number when returning them to this reception.

Please note

• Returning your keys means that you are obliged to return all keys and other items belonging to your set of keys. What belongs to a set of keys varies but it can, for example, be a laundry lock, laundry key, key finder tag, laundry tag, balcony key, etc.

• The keys remain your responsibility until they are received by LU Accommodation. If you send them to us from abroad you need to stand for all costs until they arrive at our office.
