In English, apartments are usually categorised by number of bedroom, e.g.:
1BA = One Bedroom Apartment
... while in Swedish apartments are usually categorised by number of rooms except bathroom and kitchen, e.g.:
2RoK = Two rooms and kitchen apartment
("RoK" stands for Rum och Kök, which is Swedish for Room(s) and Kitchen).
LU Accommodation has chosen to use both categorisations, to be as transparent as possible. Thus, housing options will be named as follows:
One Bedroom Apartment (2RoK)
... meaning an apartment with one bedroom and one additional room (perhaps a living room or dining room), beyond the kitchen and bathroom(s) (most apartments have only one bathroom).
Cleaning Charge
LU Accommodation apply a non-refundable, one-time cleaning charge for all tenants. The amount depends on the accommodation type and is included in the first rent.
You can see the cleaning charge per housing option and area in the comparison above, or read more about the general prices and what the cleaning charge includes below.
Included in the accommodation
All accommodation include basic furniture (beds are 90x200cm), internet, heating, water, electricity, and access to laundry facilities in the rent.
All kitchens (shared or private) have refrigerators, freezers, ovens, and stoves, and include a basic set of kitchen utensils, including pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses.
