FAQ Induction

The purpose of the induction is to inform you of what will happen when you arrive in Lund, and to answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding housing.

How do I complete the induction?

Each student, having accepted a room offer, will be asked to carry out an induction before arriving in Lund. This process is carried out by logging on to your housing account. Carrying out the induction is compulsory and it will need to be completed before arrival.

Is the induction closed?

Please note that the induction part of the application process may be closed during certain periods of the year. If this is the case it will state 'Inductions currently Closed' when you go into the induction section of your online application for housing. This is done so that LU Accommodation can assess the information contained in the induction and update it if necessary. If you find that the induction is closed when you try to complete it do not worry as details of when you should be able to carry out the induction will be sent to you via email when applicable.
