When will I receive the results of my housing application?
No set deadline
There is no set deadline on when you will be contacted by us but commonly the process will look as follows:
Autumn semester accommodation
If you apply for accommodation during the autumn semester the first offers will most likely be sent out during the second week of June. The allocation process will normally carry on until late July.
Spring semester accommodation
If you apply for accommodation during the spring semester the first offers the first offers will most likely be sent out during the first week of December. The allocation process will normally carry on until late December.
Offers are sent out gradually
Please note that all room offers are not sent at the same time. Just because a fellow student may have received a room offer does not mean that we have forgotten about you.
It is very important that you regularly log in to your LU Accommodation housing account as well as regularly checking the e-mail account which you have registered with us on application (also the spam inbox).

Application not successful
When the application period has closed, we initially work on the housing applications of the students that we will not be able to allocate (at least not in the early stages of the allocation process). The status of these applications will change to "waiting list" and an e-mail with information about how to search for accommodation through other agencies will be sent to this group.

All students who have not been successful in receiving a room offer will be informed when the allocation period is over and all rooms have been reserved.
