Keys
At Baustastenen you only receive an electronic key (a RCO tag). Activate your electronic key on the small black reader located by the letterboxes:
- Hold the key in front of the cylinder on the door until it flashes green. Turn the cylinder to unlock/lock the door. A white indicator light will flash.
- If the cylinder is turned too far, it will beep and flash red. Turn the lock back a little until and wait until it flashes white.

Internet is included in the rent. Just plug in the computer, using an ethernet cable, to the network socket in the apartment.
Laundry
There is a washing machine and a tumble drier in each apartment.
Post
You will find the letterboxes by the north-west corner of the building. Please put your name tag on it or else you will not receive post.
Waste disposal
All housing areas have some sort of waste separation in order to minimize the negative effect on the environment. It is important to sort your waste carefully. The proper containers for separation will be found next to the parking place. You may also read more here: Waste Separation Guidelines
