Here you will find information regarding how the host department can make a booking request for an incoming guest researcher and what applies if a booking is made.

Looking for accommodation for your visiting guest researcher?
Send us a booking request and we will contact your guest in order to instruct on how to make an application in our booking system.
We will send information and instructions for your guest as to create an account and submit an application in our system. An offer of accommodation will be sent directly to your guest, who will either accept or decline the offer. If it is accepted, we will send a booking confirmation to you as well.
There are a few things you as the host department need to consider before proceeding:
- The host department acts as a guarantor for their guest. If we for some reason would not receive rental payments or cleaning payments from your guest, you would be responsible for making the payments instead.
- By filling in the details below, you verify that the applicant is indeed a guest researcher. You have read the following information from our website (link): Who is eligible for accommodation?
- If we sign a contract with your guest researcher, you will be responsible for keeping track of the cancellation notice of two full calendar months´ that applies on the booking. This means that if you receive news that your guest researcher will not be arriving as planned or has changed his/her plans, we will need a cancellation of the booking two calendar months prior to the start of the contract. If the cancellation is later than that, you will be liable for paying rent.
