Two batches
Today (19 August), the fifth batch of available housing for August 2024 was published, as well as the first batch of housing available from September. These batches have different deadlines as outlined below.
No rooms will be available for booking at the Arrival Day venue (as has happened in previous years); all vacancies are filled via the online batch system.
August batch (short deadline)
The August batch is open for application until midnight (CEST) Tuesday, 20 August.
As these are the last accommodations available for August, we have increased the speed and urgency of offering and requesting responses. Each part of the process will now take 1-2 days instead of weeks, so please note the dates below, and log in to your account each day during this week if you apply for available rooms.

If any offers are declined, or receive no response, they will be sent out to the next person in the queue with a response deadline of Sunday 25 August, and move-in date of 26 August.
September
The September batch is open for application until midnight (CEST) Thursday 22 August.

If any offers are declined, or receive no response, they will be sent out to the next person in the queue with a response deadline of Tuesday 27 August.
Apply for the batch
All eligible applicants are welcome to apply for both batches, regardless if they applied for the previous batches. Please note that it is the date an applicant joined the queue that determines their queue position, not the date they applied for any given batch.
If you have applied for any previous batch, you need to choose preferences again for this batch. Make sure to put in as many preferences as possible. For any guaranteed students who have put in insufficient preferences, LU Accommodation will have to send an offer outside of the preferences, in order to fulfill the housing guarantee.
Priority
Any applicants who received an offer in the previous batch will lose their guarantee and/or priority, as they have already received an offer. We update eligibilities manually, which may result in some changes in queue positions.
New Offers
Offers will be sent to the e-mail registered with LU Accommodation following the dates above. Note! For all applicants who log in using their LU Student Account, offers will be sent to the LU Student e-mail adress linked to that account.
Different contract start date
The August housing options are due to people cancelling their contract before the contract start date. Because this batch starts in the middle of August, contract start dates are adjusted for move-in as soon as possible. If you already have a contract with us, we will not change your contract start date.
