Cleaning Costs/Fees  (From November 2020)

Two different cleaning have been procured by LU Accommodation to handle the cleaning needed in our rooms and apartments. Prices will therefore vary a bit between different areas and rooms and apartments dependent on the prices of the company responsible for that particular accommodation. Below you will find all our cleaning prices listed per housing area.

There are two prices per object: the price per a normal cleaning and the price if there is only minor issues left in the apartment after the departure of the tenant. These prices are not negotiable since they have been decided by public procurement.

Bautastenen

Room only (in a 2-bedroom apartment):

• Normal cleaning: SEK 850
• Minor issues: SEK 440

Apartment cleaning (normally split between the two tenants):

Old Cleaning Costs/Fees (until November 2020)

If the cleaning of your room/apartment is not accepted during the final inspection the LU Accommodation inspection team will take pictures of the remaining issues and hire a cleaning company to take care of the issues. If you order cleaning the cleaning company will be sent directly and no pictures will be taken. The following prices have been agreed upon by LU Accommodation and the cleaning company Rexagon. The prices includes the time for the cleaning, the VAT and the administrative work done by LU Accommodation.

Normal cleaning

The prices as per a normal cleaning (also if you ordered cleaning) 2020 are the following:

• Corridor room: 470 SEK
• Corridor room incl. WC, 17-24 sqm: 750 SEK
• Corridor room incl. WC/shower, 13-19 sqm: 660 SEK
• Corridor room incl. WC/shower, 20-25 sqm: 800 SEK
• Studio flat/1-bedroom apartment, 21-41 sqm: 1190 SEK
• 2-bedroom apartment, 36-73 sqm: 1690 SEK
• 3-bedroom apartment, 60-105 sqm: 2810 SEK

Minor issues

If there are only minor issues in the room/apartment other fees might apply if you have tried to clean yourself. Reduced fees are as follows:

• Corridor room: 330 SEK
• Corridor room incl. WC, 17-24 sqm: 560 SEK
• Corridor room incl. WC/shower, 13-19 sqm: 520  SEK
• Corridor room incl. WC/shower, 20-25 sqm: 560 SEK
• Studio flat/1-bedroom apartment, 21-41 sqm: 800 SEK
• 2-bedroom apartment, 36-73 sqm: 1120 SEK
• 3-bedroom apartment, 60-105 sqm: 1880 SEK

The prices above do not cover:

• A room/apartment in need of sanitization. Any room left in a mess will require additional time for the cleaning company and the an additional fee will in such a case be added to your housing account.
• Removal of personal belongings or trash.
• Any damages in the apartment.
• Late key fees
