Housing area visits and room assessment
Most of our tenants move out at the end of each term: between December and January or between the end of May and the middle of July.
In order to facilitate the departure process and to prepare for the room inspection, members of the LU Accommodation team will be present at most housing areas during a specific day and time at the end of each term to answer all questions that you might have.
We can answer questions about:
- Key return
- Room inspection
- Deposit refund
We will visit the following housing areas at the dates and times below:

What is a room assessment? A room assessment involves a member of LU Accommodation visiting your room and together with you checking the room, offering cleaning instructions as well as tips on how to prepare your room for your departure.
The aim of this procedure is to assess the general condition of your room and to point out areas of improvement in preparation for the final room inspection that will take place after your departure.
Please send an email to luacc [at] service.lu.se if you wish to reserve a time for a room assessment.
The final room inspection will take place after you have moved out and returned the keys.
